the frugality to sale shopping pipeline is reeeal. i take great pleasure in using this time of year to hit unsubscribe from holiday campaign emails :) during the Sephora sale i’ll purchase pretty much only discounted sets of my skin/hair staples + 1 or 2 fun adds. i also have an ongoing notion wishlist that i add to (it helps me close out my shopping tabs lol) and will revisit…i find myself archiving a lot of the links when the season comes around!

Yes! It’s a great time to cull subscriptions that no longer serve you. I LOVE that you also have an ongoing list (Notion 4ever) 🤓😂 Sometimes I’ll test myself and get rid of any list items I can’t immediately recall by memory — I figure if it’s truly something I want/need it shouldn’t be hard to remember

This honestly brightened my day since it got me thinking about holiday gifts and how much I love gift-giving... requiring a lot of cognitive dissonance to distract myself but it's probably what we all need a bit of in this moment. So in a moment of consumerism -- I'm buying some new cream blushes and a bracelet for my mom, skincare for my sister, and debating between Pin I earrings or Arp earrings as a gift to myself!

Aww thank you so much for sharing this 🫶🏻 I’m actually heading to a wedding tomorrow and cognitive dissonance is precisely the phrase that describes how I feel celebrating while simultaneously grieving… I do think it’s important to hold onto these bright moments we do have though, and continue to take care of each other. Buying gifts for loved ones is definitely something that brings me joy (it sounds like for you, too!) so I’m glad we at least have that to look forward to :)
