Why does a jewelry brand have a Substack, and why should I subscribe?
This is a very fair question. Given the fact that Abel already has a journal and already has a newsletter, a Substack might seem redundant.
I’ve found, however, that sometimes there are things I want to say that don’t feel quite right for either platform or things I want to say as me: Kelsey and not me: Abel. So here we are.
While there will inevitably be some overlap in content, here you can expect much more of a dialogue, hotter takes, and behind-the-scenes content — essentially the unpolished facets of running a jewelry business (yes there were two jewelry puns in there, sorry).
Announcements for sales and new product launches will only ever come from the OG Abel newsletter, so that one’s still worth subscribing to if you’re interested in that stuff.
